WINGS ICT Solutions in DEDICAT 6G

WINGS ICT Solutions is honored to be the coordinator of the H2020 DEDICAT 6G project and a member of the project consortium, along with 13 other European partners, aiming to realize the DEDICAT 6G vision to transform Beyond 5G networks into a smart connectivity platform that is dependable/resilient, highly adaptive, ultra-fast, green for supporting securely innovative, human-centric applications.

WINGS develops advanced solutions for verticals which gained traction: (1) AIRWINGS for air quality (outdoor / indoor, in production and manufacturing), civil and environment protection (fire protection); (2) ARTEMIS for the proactive management of utilities (energy, water, gas infrastructures); (3) WINGSPARK for advanced mobility services and for the management of transport infrastructures; (4) AQUAWINGS for sustainable and effective aquaculture; (5) AGNES for sustainable agriculture and food safety; (6) WINGSChariot for logistics and industry 4.0/5.0 applications; (7) STARLIT for health / wellness. Moreover, targeted applications for defense / security are soon to be announced. The technology foundation comprises advanced wireless (4G/5G/B5G/WiFi),IoT, cloud and big data platforms, AI, orchestration and diagnostics, AR. WINGS is proud to have cooperated from the beginning with world-class companies, in Greece, the UK, Germany and the Netherlands. A series of cooperations with the US has been established, while activities for strengthening the footprints in the Middle East and in Africa are taking place. In the context of the DEDICAT 6G project, WINGS contributes to the Smart Warehousing and Public Safety use cases, by providing hardware and software solutions tailored to the corresponding requirements.

Results related to the Smart Warehousing use case are being exploited especially in the enhancement of WINGSChariot (https://www.wings-ict-solutions.eu/wingschariot/), the WINGS product for logistics and industry 4.0 applications. WINGS is also interacting with DIAKINISIS, a major logistics company participating in the consortium to derive requirements relevant to a large logistics company like them. Similarly, results related to Public Safety will be exploited in combination with other solutions, such as the extension of the WINGSPARK platform that provides functionalities for detecting anomalous values in time series data and CCTV live feeds to show alerts and also provide potential mitigation measures (e.g., evacuation of a train station in case of an incident etc.).
